It was less obvious of a possibility than insta swap shooting in SoT, but it was still playing the game how it's design. Fornite shotgunning wasn't an exploit either.
#Summit1g block shooter how to
As long as it was a few people they probably though "eh, not a big deal.", but then summit came along and with the biggest streaming numbers SoT has ever seen and made it popular by showing both how good it was and how to do it. They designed it that way, but underestimated or didn't understand it's potential. They have been aware of it for awhile, but chose to do nothing until recently. Just like the double pumps on Fortnite they could be exploited by macros, hence the global cooldown. Low dmg and high fire speed? Even then using a combo of 2 weapons might be more difficult to balance said in Summit1g streaming in this moment and I see the If it was meant for exactly how it was designed they wouldn’t have changed it. The question is what to do to bring blunder and flintlock up to the swords level? Blunder is easy, the knockback an high dmg at close range while being slow is great, but flintlock is a bit more difficult. This way meta is balanced between EOR and sword. I'd recommend increasing all damage back up, making EOR useable but highly unpredictable at close range.

It used to be to limit the amount of weapons we had from 3 to only 2, then it was limit all gun dmg and draw speed across the board, and now it's sword or jumping limitations. i'm just tired that every solution to this game is to "limit".

Okay so let's jump into this, I say I must agree with the fact hat the sword is now OP and honestly, I hate the idea of reducing the sword abilities or anything else in this game for that matter (In fact I hate balancing as a main topic point when devs mention it in their own streams, but I'll give this a shot). Oh boy here we go again, I kept telling people that once the double gunning was taken out their was going to be complaints about the sword too, yet another argument on balancing.
